 Vented Gas Burners are designed to burn with a yellow; smoky; wood-like flame that will produce carbon soot which must be fully exhausted up the chimney. Vented gas logs are not a cure for a smoking (non-drafting) chimney. “FX” Burner - L-shaped half-pan burner that sits on the firebox floor underneath a grate. Single pipe burner with ember boosters that increase the depth of the ember bed by 2 inches compared to the F burner. The Rasmussen FX Flaming Ember-XTRA Vented Burner System is designed with a basic single tube burner. This burner will produce pleasing; variable flames with a more compact ember bed.
